Warranty & Care
12-month warranty
Every Silfira piece is covered for 12 months from delivery against faults in the making: a clasp, setting, hinge or link that fails under normal wear. If that happens we replace the piece, or repair it where that is the better outcome, and we cover the return postage. Wear from water, perfume, sunscreen and chemicals is not a fault, and the care notes below are how to avoid it. To make a claim, contact us through the Contact page with your order number, a short description and a photo.

Wear & Care
Your Silfira pieces are designed to last for years with the right care.
Water, chlorine, sweat, perfume, sunscreen, and lotions will wear the finish over time.
The golden rule: on last, off first.
To preserve their colour and shine:
- Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising
- Apply perfume, sunscreen, and skincare before putting your jewellery on
- After wearing, gently wipe each piece with a soft, non-abrasive cloth
- Use a jewellery polishing cloth on metal only, avoiding pearls and stones
- Store each piece in the Silfira pouch provided, or any soft pouch or sealed bag, somewhere dry and away from humidity (not the bathroom)

All Silfira orders are shipped from our Western Australian studio via Australia Post.
Processing & Dispatch
Orders placed before 9am AWST ship the same business day.
Orders placed after this time ship the next business day.

- Flat rate: $10.10 AUD if under $150
- Estimated delivery after dispatch:
- WA Metro: 2–5 business days
- VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT, TAS, SA & NT Metro: 3–7 business days
- Remote and regional areas may require additional time
Express Shipping
- Free on orders $350+ AUD
- Flat rate: $15.50 AUD for orders under $350 AUD
- Estimated delivery after dispatch:
- WA Metro: 1–2 business days
- VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT, TAS, SA & NT Metro: 2–4 business days
International Shipping
International orders incur a shipping fee calculated at checkout based on destination.
International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees applied by their local government.

Tracking information is emailed once your order has been dispatched.
Returns and exchanges
If you change your mind, you have 14 days from delivery to exchange your piece or take store credit, as long as it is unworn and in its original condition. For hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned, and sale pieces and gift cards are final. Orders paid with Afterpay or another buy-now-pay-later service can be exchanged or credited rather than refunded.
If your piece arrives faulty or is not what you ordered, email info@silfira.com.au as soon as it arrives, ideally within 48 hours, with your order number and a photo. We will repair, replace or refund it, and the return postage is on us.
Christmas gifts: anything bought between 1 and 31 December can be exchanged or credited until 14 January. Earrings remain final sale, so if you are unsure of her choice, a Silfira gift card or Send a Hint takes the guesswork out.

When will I get my order?
We dispatch from our Perth, Western Australian studio the same business day for orders placed before 9am AWST, or the following business day for orders placed after this time. Standard delivery across Australia takes 2–7 business days at a flat rate of $10.10 AUD, complimentary on orders over $150 AUD. Express shipping is available for $15.50 AUD, complimentary on order over $350 AUD. You will receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination.
Can I wear my Silfira pieces in the shower or swimming?
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising. While our gold vermeil and rhodium finishes are crafted to exceed industry standards, prolonged exposure to water, chlorine, and chemicals will shorten the life of your piece. A little care goes a long way — treat your Silfira pieces well and they will reward you for years.
What materials do you use?
All Silfira pieces are crafted from solid 925 sterling silver, finished in either 14k, 18k gold vermeil or rhodium. Our gold vermeil layers up to 3 microns of gold — exceeding industry standards — for a rich, long-lasting finish that is hypoallergenic and nickel-free. Our rhodium finish draws from the platinum family of metals, adding a mirror-like shine and exceptional durability, also hypoallergenic and nickel-free. Select pieces feature freshwater pearls chosen for their lustre and quality.

Every Silfira piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in India and Thailand, certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council — an internationally recognised standard ensuring ethical sourcing, fair labour practices, and environmental responsibility across the jewellery supply chain.
