Refund & Returns Policy
Australian Consumer Law
We follow the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, we may offer an exchange or store credit if the item is:
- Unworn and unused
- In perfect condition
- Returned within 14 days of delivery
Exclusions
For hygiene and craftsmanship reasons, the following items are final sale:
- Earrings
- Sale items
- Gift cards
Orders placed using Buy Now Pay Later services (including Afterpay) are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
Condition Requirements
All returned items must be in perfect condition, with no signs of wear, scratches, tarnish, or damage.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs.
We will cover return shipping for confirmed faulty or incorrect items.
Return Shipping & Processing
- Change-of-mind returns require the customer to cover return postage
- Please allow 5–7 business days for returns to be processed once received
Christmas Returns
Orders placed between 1–31 December may be returned until 14 January.
Standard exclusions apply.
Warranty
Silfira jewellery is handcrafted with care using high-quality materials. We offer a 12-month craftsmanship warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing faults or defects resulting from workmanship.
What is Covered
- Manufacturing faults
- Structural defects in clasps, settings, hinges, or links
- Faults occurring under normal wear
What is Not Covered
- Lost items
- General wear and tear, including scratches, tarnishing, or fading of metals or gemstones
- Damage caused by improper care, including exposure to chemicals, water, perfumes, or excessive force
- Natural variations in gemstones or pearls
- Any repair, resizing, or modification carried out by a third party
Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim, please contact us via our Contact page within the warranty period and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the item
If approved, you may be required to return the item for inspection.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
If the original item is unavailable or discontinued, a store credit equal to the original purchase price will be issued.
Silfira will cover return shipping for confirmed warranty claims.
